About Camila

Peruvian writer, producer, director and actress based in Los Angeles with an MFA in Film from Columbia University and a BA in Theater Arts and Communications. She is an alumna of the Sundance Creative Producing Lab and Film Independent Producing Lab in the USA, as well as the Coofilm Residency for Female Filmmakers in Spain. Her productions have screened at Telluride, Tribeca, Palm Springs, and other festivals around the world. She is the CEO & Founder of the Story Studio PLAY | Storytelling.

Camila is currently in pre-production for her first feature-length film as a writer/director, Dime Cuánto Me Quieres, winner of the Peruvian National Production Film Fund 2023 and the co-production forum PROYECTA, a joint initiative of Ventana Sur, the Marché du Film, and San Sebastián Film Festival.

In addition to her work in film, Camila has over twelve years of entrepreneurial experience, helping companies craft compelling stories that align with their brands. She has created content for Samsung, Movistar, Claro, Intel, Sura, Cadbury, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, among others.
